Johnparrack
Look at all the usual suspects...Sanyo, Panasonic, Barco and Christie...They all produce projectors of 10k and above.

sleepytom
The Sanyos are very low end - I'd look for something better such as a Barco R10 - the Barco machines have many advantages over the Sanyo both in terms of size and weight and also features and image quality. The physical shutter on the Barco is worth the extra cash on its own, being able to truly black out the image (via DMX on the recent Barcos) is a priceless feature which you'll sorely miss on Sanyo kit. Pete McCrea
I wouldn't say the Sanyo's are 'Very Low End', just a bit longer in the tooth and now showing their age. The CLM's were designed by Barco to take market share away from the XF45/LX100, and they have- we've invested heavily on the R10's and HD8's, because they are a better product. The CLM's have bounced the XF's down in price, typically the list was £850/day for an XF, where as now it's a CLM R10 you'll get for the same. Benefits of a CLM- software for remote control- you can sit in the auditorium and use a laptop to configure them. Sealed light path- there's no way in for pesky haze fluid, rugged casing, liquid cooled for low noise, easy lens change, small form factor, decent lens shift and more... And yes we do have them in hire stock along with lenses with ratios from 0.85-7.0:1.... :D :D
jason5d
I'll put the question a different way does anyone have a Sanyo XF47 for hire? (only an xf47 will do) at a sensible price
