lc2412 problem

Hi,

 

I have a new Behringer LC2412 board and I am trying to assign the faders to specific DMX channels. According to the manual, you do this by pressing "utility 2", but when I press "utility 2", it goes to the "utility 1" menu. I have run a key check and the "utility 2" key appears to be functioning properly. But for some reason it doesn't bring me to the correct menu. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

You say the board is new. Has the Utility 2 function ever worked?

I suggest you have a faulty board and that you should return it for replacement.

I believe the self test only checks that the LEDs light up and that the keys respond to being pressed. I don't think it checks to see if the correct function is checked for the particular key press.
