Chris_H
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.I'm just starting a college project which involves researching, designing and making a set model to scale, I've written to my local theatres for any help/plans they could offer, but I've had no replies. So, is there anywhere I could get scale plans for theatres for cheap/nothing (low budget)? thanks for the help Chris
peter
White Lights LX Store sell scale plans of theatres, online, but they're not particularly cheap. A bit of googling can turn up some theatres with plans in AutoCAD format.
Tomo
C venues have some PDFs online that you can download - not certain about the copyright on them, but I *think* that you only have to give them credit for the original plans.C Venues There's also a 3D studio MAX 5.0 model here, which you are welcome to use so long as you give me credit! Dazzler
Where there any venues in particular you wanted the groundplans for?
Just Some Bloke
Technical/Stage/Production Managers are often very busy. You could always try turning up at a venue at a time that shouldn't be too busy for them and simply asking for a plan. Letters can be ignored, polite callers can't!
