peter Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 Hi everyoneI've been asked to sort out the hire of 4 radio mics for an upcoming show. As I'm not normally in charge of hiring the PA equipment, I have no idea what a good price will be for these. I've been quoted £180 per week by one hire company for a Senheiser Series300 (UHF) system - how does that compare to what most people pay? Peter
Big Dave Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 Thats not a bad price for 4 mics for a week. Don't think you'll do much better than that
misterbassman Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 sounds good to me, seinnhesier radio mics are very good :o My local place wants £300 for a weeks hire of 4 AKG mics
dominicgross Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 We normally pay about £300 for 4 Shure UHF's (either beltpacks or handhelds). But we do normally get a choice of capsules for nothing...
andy_s Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 about 50 or 60 quid a channel per week seemed to be the going price when I looked into it 6 months ago. I decided to buy instead, long term investment and all that.
IanG Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 about 50 or 60 quid a channel per week ... rising to about 90 quid for the top end stuff from the bigger hire companies, IME.
