mrainey
What is the best to use a wirless router on the desk or a wirless network card? If I use a wireless card does it have to be a specific one or can I be any make and model?
tij5987
What are you trying to achieve exactly??? Would I be right in guessing you are trying to connect a PDA remote or a PC/Laptop using Xconnect (USB Designers Remote Software) or similar, wirelessly to the desk? If so then a simple wireless access point plugged into your console's network port would suffice - I use a 'Linksys Wireless Access Point' for this and works well.... Hope this helps, if not be a bit more specific about what you are trying to achieve and maybe we can help bit more. Tom.
gareth
Far easier to make the wireless access external to the console. Either a router with built-in wireless, or an external WAP.
Chiefy
I did this once with an Apple Airport linked from the desk to the laptop, if you have your x-connect installed and working on your machine then this is a relatively simple task...
