Stu Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 from now on we wont use as many lights.Well you could have 300A worth of lanterns up in the rig, as long as you didn't use more than 200A at any one time... Or have say 48 lanterns up for 24 ways of dimming and then have a Stage LX (or similar) to change the ways of dimming during the show to get more rig Stu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ellis Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 When I was at University, the 200A 3 phase supply to the dimmer woom DB in the Student union was shared with physics. During the day, the SU were not supposed to pull more that 100A. "The Gig VI" fit up >100A 3 ph if all on - half of the Lx on, the other half on one flash button through the pin patch. Yes, someone did flash them, no fuses blew, but the lights aparently dimmed in Physics! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
