Stewart Newlands Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 It is my understanding that currently no centre runs these courses; the one that did (film and television freelance training) is no longer offering them. Does anyone know any more? http://www.cityandguilds.com/documents/750...e_amends(1).pdf These follow from skillset's National Occupational Standards for Lighting for Film & Television http://www.skillset.org/standards/standards/Lighting/
Stewart Newlands Posted March 20, 2008 Author Posted March 20, 2008 It is my understanding after a load of calls that currently no centre runs these courses. City & Guilds have developed the NVQ outlines from the skillset NOS. (no one yet has run a course). Do people think it would be useful for other sectors to have a City and Guilds NVQ3 in Temporary Electrical Systems which would include the generator operator NVQ plus the other electrical elements to go with BS7909:2008 with a qualifying requirement of BS7671 competence? http://www.cityandguilds.com/documents/750...e_amends(1).pdf These follow from skillset's National Occupational Standards for Lighting for Film & Television http://www.skillset.org/standards/standards/Lighting/
