Gerry Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Just bought 2nd hand CCT sils.No lamps in either, one has spacers fitted under the lamp holder, the other has spacers above lamp holder (in case they are needed?).Which is the set upfor 1K and 1.2K lamps?I'm guessing the "under the lamp holder" is the 1.2K setting.CheersGerry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gareth Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Whichever one makes the lamp sit lower down in the unit will be the 1.2k setting - the filament height on those lamps is slightly higher than the 1k, so they need to sit lower to get the filament into the centre of the reflector.
