Dave lee
I need to hire a white stage for a Wedding Fayre being held at Chester Racecourse on the 23rd to 24th of February. Needs to be a T shape. Can anyone help or point me in the direction of a hire company. Many thanks.
AndyJones
1) Ali deck. 2) Plywood 3) can of white paint. Easy to assemble. safe and simple and cheap, and pretty much every hire company in the country has some HTH Andy Jones
Rob
1) Ali deck. 2) Plywood 3) can of white paint. You obviously haven't done many weddings! Plywood and white paint would work but won't be the most beautiful or elegant finish. White carpet and a white valance would be a more appropriate way of doing it... matt_beal
White carpet and a white valanceIf you didn't want a soft carpet finish, hardboard painted white would give you a smoother finish than plywood and would be cheaper. Going for a paint that has a slight sheen to it might look good too depending on what you are trying to achieve, but naturally will affect lighting a bit. On the other hand I presume you are aiming to show off the wedding dresses, so perhaps going for something slightly off-white to make the dresses look "whiter" may be an idea.
