Span Sets

If by spansets you mean fibre slings, why do you need 7m long ones? Surely wire rope drifts are more suitable for this long a drop - unless it's a 7m diameter object you want to wrap it round?

Interested to know why steel wire rope would be more 'suitable'?

2 tonne SWL would mean probably 13mm steel.

7m is not a typical size (I'm guessing circ. here) but 6m is typical for wrapping GP trusses.

'Spanset' is like 'Hoover' - specifically incorrect, but a term in worldwide use and quite helpful.

Technically a 'roundsling', not a 'fibre' sling which would also include webbing and be confusing.
