'Virtual' Vision Mixer

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I found this recently and I was wondering if the software could be used/adapted to be able to use it without the v4?

I know that many of you will say that the hardware is more stable (and just better anyway!), and I agree, but I am just wondering!!

Okay. I admit defeat. Peter, I've read this 3 or 4 times and can't see how this could work without the V4 (or at least SOME for of video hardware attached. What am I missing?

As far as I can see, the V4 is providing the video input/output connections and necessary frame syncs etc to permit the actual mixing. The software the OP has found is providing a different control surface which is fine, but without the hardware to provide the IO, how are you going to use it?

I'm suffering sleep deprivation here so put me out of my misery. What am I missing?
