chatterbox
Can anyone tell me the difference between the TC M300 and the TC M350. (I know the 300 has been discontinued, but I have seen them secondhand) Want to purchase one or the other - but any comments would be appreciated.... cedd
I have an M300 and it's great, very useable and the reverbs are just right, nice and controllable. The delay too is wuite sweet, indeed I've done some pieces involving looping of a phrase which is then built upon to make up a layered piece and it will happily sit there looping for the best part of 3 minutes. Haven't tried for any longer as it starts to get tiring on the ears! There's a sound on sound review of the M300 here; http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/Jun02/arti.../tcelecm300.asp There's no visible difference on the front panel at all. The M350 I believe has a few more reverbs, but frankly the ones on the m300 were good enough to start with. Perhaps the new version is for ROHS reasons? - Lead free solder and all! They may have tweaked a few things in the process or changed some of the DSP algorhythms.
