cabba Posted January 20, 2008 Share Posted January 20, 2008 I recently pulled out our ice machine after it sitting for some time and notice that the fluid has gone a slightly bluey colour and I'm pretty sure it was white b4,it was in a cold place for a good year or so,can fluid discoler or has it been contaminatedta! Russ83 Posted January 20, 2008 Share Posted January 20, 2008 I would guess it's just a bit of corrosion (if that is the correct term) from the copper pipe inside the machine.Flush the system with the recommended fluid in the manual and then use some fresh smoke fluid. Best thing to do is give it a good clean out and use smoke machine cleaner to give the pipes a good clean. A fresh bottle of fluid and away you go...
