flashcrashboom
Hi all, Does any know how to make booms easier to read from a plan on WYSIWYG? I currently I have to use the CAD side view but this is not the easiest to rig from.On another note does anyone know where I can get a gauze texture from or if the program already has it? thanks in anticipation ;)
Grum
Not ideal but try drawing the booms twice but in different layers, one where you actually want them and the other so that they look right in plan view. Then when you print your plot you can turn off the layer you don't want to see. Like I said, not ideal but it is an easy work around. As for the gauze, I think you can asign a transparancy rating to a surface (in its properties), but it has been a while since I needed to do this so I could be wrong. Hope that helps Grum
peternewman
ISTR you can include sections of other bits of plan in the presentation view. So your main top down plan, and side views of the booms next to where they are on the plan. Again a while since I've played with it too.
gareth
When you create a new plot, you can tip the boom sideways to make it legible on a 2-dimensional plan without having to actually tip it over in your WYG file. Right-click and selectr Rotate Position.
