Gerry
I know snow machines have been discussed many times before but things change/ improve  Any particular make/ model that is quieter than the usual noisy machines?Wan't to use one for a Xmas show but wan't a quiet one.Yes, I do know about snow drops/bags.CheersGerry
Tomo
Unfortunately snow machines are fundamentally noisy, as they work by blowing a lot of air through the 'stuff'. Best bet would be to check with your local hire companies and listen to the ones they have, to see if any are quiet enough for your purpose! lamps galore
try www.snowboy.co.uk and look for the "snowboy stage whisper", might be what you're looking at - if anything, they might be able to tell you whether you can get hold of them in Spain... p.s I've never used them, but knowing how loud snow machines are, anything might be worth a try... James H
White Light already make one. Their paddle type snow machine is dead quiet (and doesn't actually use paddles).
