It is a suspended dance floor driven by a grid of transducers underneath it every metre or so (think speaker coils driving a plunger rather than a cone. All fed by racks of low freqeuncy audio amplifiers. Allows you to feel the Bass fequencies, just like you get in some video games. A great effect, originally made by a Japanese Company.
