Slip No More

Does anyone know of any alternitives to Slip Nomor 2000 as there seems to be a national shortage of this product.

 

We are after a propar alternitive as things like coke and glue and hairspray can only be a short term alternitive. does anyone know of a product like Slip no more

clearly no alternatives available judging by the replies - or lack of them.

 

I don't know of any exact equivalent, but the traditional way of creating a non slip surface (which might be suitable depending on circumstances) - involves adding sand to a glaze before applying it to the floor surface to give more grip. Clearly this would not be suitable for dance or shows involving rolling around on the floor, due to the abrasive nature of the finish - good for steps or ramps that people walk down only, I'd say.

 

for 'slip no more' type products it might be worth contacting cleaning product manufacturers / suppliers - if the venue has contract cleaners ask them where they get their supplies from, and contact them to ask about anti-skid floor treatments.
