Rob
I've got a couple of Redheads in need of bubbles for a friend who wants to use them for some filming. I'm not sure what sort of lamp I need though, I think they should be 800W linear Tungsten. Any ideas??
Paul J Need
I beleive the lamp you are looking for is the DXX ( I better check the DXX bit but pretty sure), 800w double ended. Cheers EDIT <_< Sorry Stu........ you should have told me and I would have shut up !! :D
Stu
Rob, The Strand Archive seems to confirm they take 800w bubbles (or 250w, 30v), but they haven't got an info page on them to let you know what kind of 800w bubble they take... You could try e-mailing them at jon@strandarchive.co.uk and see if they can let you know anymore. There is also this dodgy cache of a Strand Data Sheet Here. Or the goodle search Here. Hope this helps mate,Stu EDIT: Bugger and after all that hard work, Paul beat me to it ;) Hehe
Rob
Thanks all, I didn't realise they were made by Strand.
PeterN
The lamp you want is a DXX or P2/13, available from all lamp suppliers; should be about a fiver plus VAT.
Rob
Bought them from AJS in the end.. £6.50 each plus £2 P&P. Great service - ordered Friday afternoon and delivered Saturday morning before I even woke up!
