urgent help with betapack 3

Ok this is urgent.

 

Doing a party for a mate, the main lights are working and running off my SPARK

 

But I want to run some off another dimmer, but with no DMX control, how do I do this. Read the manual but it wouldn't do anything!!!

 

Help really would be appreciated.

First, a few questions:

 

What are you trying to do?

What are you trying to use?

How is it connected?

Par 56 long, just want them on via the dimmer or a chase if I can.

 

Meant to bring laptop and hog pc.

 

But only brought SPARK LX.

so have that dimmer on stand alone, which I want it to run from.

 

connected the lights being plugged in straight into dimmer, as there on the floor.

So you want to know how to make a stand-alone automatic sequence/chase on a Betapack 3?

 

Well, I've just found it in the manual so I suggest go back and read it again, although I must admit it does read a little complicated.

Well I looked at manual control mode, but that didnt come up, from what it said in the manual.

 

then I moved to dimmer laws and that was normal.

 

I just want the lights on!

 

and the dimmer isnt doing it!

Read This

In particular, have a look at pages 4 and 5

 

To set up a single look:

 

1) Press the MODE button until the "Manual" LED lights.

2) Now use Up/Down to choose a channel

3) Press ENTER

4) Now use Up/Down to set a level.

5) Press ENTER

 

Go to step 2, and repeat as necessary.

 

Once you have a look created, you can store it:

1) Press MODE until the "Memory" LED lights.

2) Use Up/Down to choose required memory (you have 12)

3) Press ENTER to store it.

 

To get a memory or sequence to play back:

1) Press MODE until the DMX Fail LED lights.

2) Use Up/Down to choose F01 to F12 (memory) or S01 to S03 (sequence)

3) Disconnect DMX.

 

I'll let you read the rest of the manual yourself - it's fairly clear to me, and I've never even seen a Betapack 3

thanks had to reset dimmer though as settings were not right.
