entersoundman
Can anyone recommend any Mac (intel) compatible freeware to do with stage tech, e.g. some CAD freeware etcetc.Be it to do with Lighting, Sound or Visual - I'm interested in finding something to play with! Many Thanks, Tom
pritch
For sound, I find that QLab is absolutely great: http://figure53.com/qlab/ It's a piece of stack-based playback software. Very powerful. There's a free version, and some chargeable ones as well for more advanced functionality.

woody74
If you do a search for "free software" in the above search, you will get over 100 hits; one or two will point you down a path we have been numerous times. cheers,-w

tvi675
Hi Tom, The ChamSys MagicQ software is available to download for the Mac (both Intel and PPC) free from our website at www.chamsys.co.uk. The software is free and fully functional, and the addition of a USB-DMX device allows you to control a lighting rig from your Mac. Enjoy!
