w/robe
The title says it all really, I need a boxing belt. It has to be good but not necessarily cheap. I've tried all the costume hire places that I would normally use so what I really want are definite sightings or possible props companies.

iamchristuffin
Buy one from somewhere like Argos? If the budget allows for it, of course
w/robe
I've not made my self clear. I don't want a weight lifting belt I want a 'WBF Heavy Weight Champion of the World with lots of gold and possibly enamelled pictures' type belt which, while money is not really an issue, are probably going to be in short supply in Argos. Seano
I've not made my self clear. You were perfectly clear, don't worry about it. I guess most people, like me, don't know what to suggest that you'll not have already thought of.Maybe your question would be better directed to a boxing forum, a quick google turns up:http://boxing-forum.co.uk/or you could try the newsgroup rec.sport.boxing Have you had a bit of a search online? If so, no doubt you already found these two US based suppliers:http://www.masisboxingbelts.com/http://www.ambersports.com/dbbelt.htmI've no idea if they do international shipping, but it may be an option if you have time, particularly with the US dollar in the pan at the moment. Lastly, would it be worth getting on the phone to the British Boxing Board of Control to see if there's someone there whose brain you can pick? It seems to me that supplying these kind of trophies is such a specialised trade that the whole UK (or European) supply could come from one of those great little backstreet workshops that are stuck in a time warp. There's still a lot of the world out there beyond the reach of Googles' tentacles, long may it continue.

w/robe
Just to report back. GLAD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY. I have found one in the toy department of an independent department store, Pearsons in NE London. Not only do they have both boxing and wrestling prize belts but, bizarrely, they are adult sized.
