peternewman Posted January 25, 2004 Share Posted January 25, 2004 Hi, A dimmer pack is used to control conventional lights for example a par can, a profile or a fresnel. You can put the light at any level of brightness by varying the control signal. A switch pack works like a relay and would be used for more disco type effects, for example pinspots or moon flowers.
