robloxley
Architectural tungstens aren't particularly cheap though, and if behind perspex (which I assume, from a mechanical protection standpoint), won't give a huge advantage?
gareth
'Proper' peg-cap architecturals are definitely not cheap. Neither are they particularly durable. But at least you can mount them end-to-end and get a continuous strip of light. If absolute continuity in the light isn't an issue (if, for example, the units are mounted behind a lip or in a trough, and you can see the light they emit but not the units themselves), use Linolite-type fittings instead - much cheaper, and far more robust, but you can't butt the tubes end-to-end because of the way the fittings work. maeterlinck
What about EL Sheet? Depending on how much you need it might be cost effective... You can also get EL Wire. If anyone has seen Blueman Group it's what they used for the internet cafe sketch...
