I was wondering if anyone has any opinions of good undergrad schools, for lighting design inperticular, in the states? I am looking heavely into Cincinatti Conservatory of Music and Oklahoma School of Drama...does anyone have opinions on these schools as well as other school I should be looking at.

Presumably you've also tried the LightNetwork (http://www.lightnetwork.com) - they tend to be more global than the BR, which, as you say, is UK based.

I have a friend interning ATM, she is looking (admittedly for postgrad) at the following colleges:

 

New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California San Diego and California School of the Arts

Have you tried the Control Booth? They're US based, so might be more help.
