P. Funk
Hi guys, I hope this relates to lighting enough to be in this forum - I was wondering if anyone has had any experience running Martin Lightjockey on an Apple Macbook Pro yet. I'd like to run a gig tomorrow using my laptop and LJ and am not sure whats going to happen. Obviously there are different ways of doing it - I'm going to use Bootcamp, Windows XP, and a lot of optimism - think it'll work, or are there likely to be driver/software problems? If theres any doubt I may just end up having to take my PC to the gig, but I'd so much rather use the laptop!
3guk
It worked straight away with Bootcamp for me, and for some reason was much more responsive than the PC laptop I have that runs at close-ish speeds. Should work first time !!!!
P. Funk
The gig was last night and I used bootcamp and it worked fine - perfectly in fact. Shortly after posting here I found the official lightjockey forum as well, which had a couple of stickies saying "lightjockey on bootcamp is fine" at the top of it, so that re-assured me a bit!
