gnomatron
hi all, google is failing me here, so have any of you heard of an "inlight" DMX controller? I think it's some sort of controller aimed at doing discos and such. It may not be called "inlight" but something that sounds similar enough to be confused with it on the phone. My other concern is that it's not an "inlight" controller but the "in light" i.e. manual control on the fixtures themselves...
pritch
Might it have been 'Sunlite', which is a USB based DMX controller?
3guk
It could be sunlite : http://www.nicolaudie.com/home.php Edit : How did I miss the reply above ??
gnomatron
sounds feasible, cheers folk. (although a USB based controller adds a whole heap of extra worries!)
Richard Bunting
Could they mean "in-line" DMX dimmer, something like the BakPak?? http://www.etdimming.com/index.php?submenu...db6830a5582936d HTH Richard
gnomatron
I don't think so, but it did cross my mind.
Barney
It's possible that they mean "I-light" - an architectural lighting controls specialist. ilight is part of Polaron PLC - this includes Polaron Integrated Building Systems and Zero 88 Lighting Ltd. Their website is at http://www.ilight.co.uk/. Hope that helps, Barney
gnomatron
probably not, it's a disco-type thing I think, but it's not impossible either, cheers!

DJ Dicky
Quite possible they could be talking about EnLight There is an english website somewhere about enlight but I can't find it at the moment. I will try to dig out some more info from my DMX archive if you need it. Richard
gnomatron
it was an "inlight" one in the end. It came with a power adaptor. With european style plug on it. And no adaptor for that. *sigh* Thank god for manual mode on the Mac 250 is all I can say.
