pearcewa
I have come across a very perplexing issue with two source fours. For a certain effect I need both to be exactly the same colour. Even after changing both lamps to ones out of the same batch the problem still occured. I have been trying different colours out on them to see if I can atleast get them to look the same, but still to no avail. Any ideas?
J Pearce
Have you tried cleaning the lenses and reflector and matching the alignment? I know several S4s I have used have been very different colour temps due to the varying state of rubbish in the optics.
sophie
I would try changing both globes as one might be old. Or try the peak dial on the back of the lamp. :** laughs out loud **:
Stutwo
In my experience it's rare to find two source4's giving exactly the same output. Even after cleaning, alignment, the lot there always seems to be a slight difference.
woody74
Do you have ONLY two fixtures? Mix and match until you find the winning pair is my two bits... Edit: Another idea: use some CTO to make the better one match the other.
