backstage_gal
Got a fake pill conundrum... I need to improvise fake aspirin for a show. It needs to be the same size, shape and colour as aspirin of course and neds to come in a blister pack as the pills are popped out of the pack onstage. This is all very well and good...but they also need to dissolve in a glass of water. It needs to be something completely harmless as we're doing over a hundred shows. I know you can get sucrose tablets which are essentially just sugar but they don't come in the right shape and size. Any help gratefully received on this one. Cheers! Big_L
Maybe you've dismissed this already, but could you not get a bottle style container and fill that with whatever is needed? I know I've got a tub style thing of ibuprofen in my bathroom!
Thornden-Jack
Some vitamin tablets that I have seen come in blister packs, and are water disolvable (sp?) Plus the actor will get all the Vitamins he/she needs!

David
Why no try a drug company and ask if they have any plasebos?
pritch
I think probably your best bet here is to talk to a pharmacist. Tell them how many doses it's going to be a day, at what intervals, and over what period of time. Hopefully they'll be able to give you a far, far safer answer than we can!
