Grahame Posted September 5, 2006 Share Posted September 5, 2006 Yes it is perfectly possible to project on black sharkstooth gauze. You obviously lose a bit of the light so a decent projector is needed, but I've seen shows using video projection onto a proscenium-sized black gauze and it works just fine.If you have a cloth behind the gauze you will get a double image, but that can sometimes be an interesting effect, depending on what you're projecting of course. thelightbulb Posted September 8, 2006 Author Share Posted September 8, 2006 so then if I were to project on to say a curved full stage gauze other than having to tamper with the image itself it would still look pretty good but you just wouldn't be able to have anything too close to it from behind.
