Does anybody know if showtec have a website, or where I could find a user manual or more information regarding their scanmaster 2 DMX controller.

Also does anybody know if it is possible to controll LED parcans, with 4 DMX channels, using this controller

Thanks, Adam

Hi,

http://www.showtec.info/ Not an easy place to find, goggle didn't bring it up! Unfortunately, its just a cover page, the link directs you to this place:

http://www.highlite.nl/ They are their main distributors, as well as dap audio and DMT (some new AV sales company) kit, with Overt UK being the UK distros.

Couldn't find u a manual on there, but thought id mention both places as they would be the best people to email and see if they can email you a manual or post you a new one seeing as your an owner of one.

Also, yes you should be able to run some led pars off it, depending on what led cans you have, you just patch the various attributes to the faders or maybe the encoders (wheels) like strobe/shutter speed or something.

HTH

*edit*

Just found this: http://www.prolight.co.uk/images/products/pdfs/143_5.pdf

Just remembered that this controllers just a nock off (like a alot of budget kit these days) of the scanmaster 2 unit by showtec. This should work for your desk, but might still be worth emailing showtech or highlite or even over a for a manual.
