DanielArkley
I was working on a gig today at school, and all of a sudden one of the radio mics we were using suddenly started making fizzing, hissing noises, about a second before someones phone went off (don't know who, but I heard it ring). Could the phone going off have caused these problems? We asked the audience to make sure they were switched off instead of on silent, is there a need to do this? Thanks! Big Dave
You don't just get the interference with radio mics either. Have a phone near almost any microphone and you will get the same problem It's a big problem with corporate jobs where no one wants to have their phone turned off.
