David
I was about to post a smart reply, but I carnt be bothered. My only question is how old are you, and have you ever worked in this industry.
mac.calder
The description is all in the name really. That said, if you do not know how to do the job, maybe you should not be doing it. Talk to your friend and see how (s)he defines the job.
WiLL
What is the company? Theatrical company, technical supply/sales/installation or DJing?
Dj4_3
Well I'm 20, been in the theater mostly for about 4 or 5 years doin minor stuff, musical, plays and such. I do lighting, I've acted, sound engineering (a little bit) I'm going to be a tech director in my friend's production company here in Newfoundland Canada, its called janus production, its not a big company. I just thought there might be a certain job involved. What I fiqure is pretty much I'm in charge of directing the lighting, stage crew , pretty much directing the tech stuff. Edit: 2 posts merged and capital letetrs added up to make posts easier to read. JSB
Nick S
To complicate the issue further, you live in north america where the term refers to a slightly different role. It will depend on the size of your production and crew.
