peter
As part of our ongoing development of the Blue Room, we have also now introduced a Warning System for members. Although this shouldn't affect members day to day, it is designed to allow the moderators to rate persistent troublemakers and apply temporary restrictions to their posting rights. As a general rule, warnings will be applied in 10% increments, at the moderators discretion, for:Severe Off-topicness (except in Tea Break)Commercial posts (except through prior agreement)Insults / irresponsible postingAbuse of the forumAny post that has to be removedYou can view the reasons for your warnings by clicking on your rating (found to the left of your posts). I should add here that your warnings are kept private, visible only to yourself and the moderation team. Should you have any queries regarding warnings, please direct your query to either Richard or myself, via PM. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank members for their patience in the launch of this system. We decided to put the system on trial to see whether or not there was a need for it. It has now been decided to continue the warnings system. Peter Kirkup
