daviddaly Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Hello there,Have just purchased a Martin Freekie. Generally it is a very nice little unit and I am ver happy with it. Having said that I was hoping to use it to control DMX dimmer packs. It seems that the Freekie will only cross fade the channels that you set up for tilt, pan and dimming for a fixture - the other channels just change value suddenly at the end of the cross fade time. Tomo Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 There is no solution - the Freekie just isn't designed to control dimmers! Basically, you'll have to use the dimmer and/or pan&tilt channels for the dimmers, and be very creative when programming. Personally I hate the thing, but it is good at what it does.
