SparkySteve
Hi Guys... Something that catches my eye all the time and makes me wonder... www.sparkysteve.com/06042006157.JPG What is the little peggy bit underneath for? There are two on most tallescopes (diagonally opposite from the one shown) I can't think of any reasonable use for it being there so thought I'd open it up to you guys......... Answers on a postcard! gareth
When the 'scope is broken down into its component parts for transport, the two cross-braces that run along the short end of the 'scope just above the wheels fold back and clip onto those little pegs. SparkySteve
oooooooooooh, makes sense now! It just seemed strange that they'd gone to the effort of welding this peg on for no majorly obvious reason! Thanks Gareth.
