timmath
If your working for a company based in England, Wales, Scotland or NI then you pay your taxes to Her Majesty's Revenue regardless of where you work. If you are being paid locally then you will need to declare it to the relevant local tax authority. Having spent a reasonable amount of time time there I know nothing of any 'performnce tax' Regards Tim
jim b
I also had no problems but I was freelancing for a UK based company so my tax on it is payable to the lovely chaps at HMRC, chat to them about it first thing on Monday they should be able to give a fully informed answer. I seem to recall that for inter-company trading there was some advantage in the UK company billing direct to the Irish company...some kind of VAT agreement I think.
