videogod
So I have my Mac running Livid Union (VJ software) and now they have a XP version Livid Instruments and I hear it is even faster than the Mac version? Has anyone had any experience with the Windows version? Care to run the demo and let me know?
videogod
Ok so I broke down and got a Lappy, it runs even better on the PC then the Mac? Can't wait for the intel macs. Now I need to figure out how to integrate DMX with Union, is anyone using soft DMX controllers?
Hambone
I don't use Union, but I do it the other way around. I use Ableton Live to do quad audio, video in Arkaos, and lighting via MIDI>DMX. Works great!
videogod
Cool, how do you convert MIDI to DMX? What program are you using to send MIDI out from ? Thanks Hambone!
Hambone
I use one of these for MIDI>DMX conversion, and Ableton Live to sequence and control the audio, and to send MIDI for video and lighting.
