TomCDyer
Hi, I have a audition with the National Youth Theatre in a week and a half. I am taking some lighting plans and some programs of shows that I have done. I was wandering what else I should take and what to be prepared for. Has anybody been on a audition or knows what I should expect? Any comments welcome. Thanks, Tom

jcobb
After my experience (quite a few years back) - I'd say the only advice is to expect anything. My interview was a short and informal chat with the Company Manager. I was due to join the LX department, but when I turned up to start work I found they'd assigned me to Stage Management, and given me the wrong date so everyone else had already started! Went along with it and had a most interesting summer...
