strandgsx Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Hey, I was asked by one of my technicans t today, thant in hire stock we have a selection of powerdrive winch up lx stands. The question is, other than constant visual and mechanical checks what else should be done to ensure they are safe and working correctly? does anyone grease or oil cogs etc etc? none have ever been damaged and are only used for light work (as in not heavy) however you can never be shure what hirers get up to. If it doesn't say anything about maintenance in the manual or you've lost it, then give Powerdrive a call, as they know the most about how to maintain their kit.Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
