We understand the important role drama plays in education. Drama contributes in many different ways to pupils' learning and to their personal and social development.

The exploration of attitudes,

Values and behaviour;

The creation of roles and relationships;

Group co-operation;

Interpretation and analysis;

Communication and presentation

Help to build a child's self-confidence.

A welcome change from maths and it's FUN!

So many schools we deal with are using equipment installed 20-30 years ago. Some have almost nothing at all to enhance the production.

10outof10 are therefore offering £2,000 of equipment prizes for schools to assist with the creative process; it's all very well producing a wonderful performance but the audience enjoys it better if they can see and hear what is happening on stage!!!? The pupils will truly feel under the 'limelight' too.

 

 

 

1st Prize: £1,250 of Lighting or Sound equipment

2nd Prize £500 Portable Lighting kit

3rd prize £250 of Spares, Lamps & Colour (To get your existing kit working again)

Applications in writing on School headed paper to Paul Need, Managing Director (Address details on the web page - LINK BELOW) enclosing a photograph of the main performance space and tell us how one of our prizes would make a difference to your school.

Closing date: 1st August 2006

(Winners will be notified during September 2006)

Open to state funded schools only.
