This section of the Blue Room forum is for members to advertise second-hand sound, lighting and staging equipment (and related items) for sale.

 

Adverts for a value less than £500 should be posted in the Free Ads forum.

 

For a post listing items of a total value between £500 and £2000 we require a donation of £2 to be made to the Blue Room's funds. (Please note, the Blue Room is a not-for-profit organisation, and once our operating costs have been accounted for any remaining funds are donated to our supported charity)

 

For a post listing items of a total value between £2000 and £5000 the level of donation should be £5.

 

For a post listing items of a total value in excess of £5000, the donation should be £15.

 

We will only approve adverts submitted to "For Sale" once we have confirmed that the relevant donation has been made.

 

In order to make the above system of 'charges' workable, we are regrettably unable to accept adverts which simply invite offers for a piece of equipment - every item offered for sale must at least include a guide as to what kind of price the seller is hoping to fetch, even if they invite offers around that guide price.

 

Members may only post to the "For Sale" forum once every thirty days.

 

Please conduct any business resulting from adverts posted on the forum via e-mail or personal message. Replies are disabled within the Classifieds forums. Think of this forum like a classifieds section in a local paper. Respond to the original poster for any further information.

 

Please note that the Blue Room has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of the listings. Do not assume that the offer, sale, purchase, export or import of any item is valid and legal simply because it is listed on our website. We are not responsible for ensuring that buyers and sellers actually complete a transaction. You accept sole responsibility for the legality of your actions under laws applying to you.

 

How to post a For Sale advert

In order to post a For Sale advert, you'll need to click on this link (or go to the down arrow by your user name at the top right of the screen. On the drop down menu you get, select Purchase Paid Subscription) and choose the 'package' that is appropriate to the advert you are about to place.

Temporary notice: Payments are currently down.  Please bear with us until we repair/replace the payment system.  In the meantime, please message an admin via PM for temporary approval to post.

 

Once payment (if required) is completed, your account will be approved for posting a For Sale advert. Please note that this forum is pre-moderated, meaning that a moderator must check over your post and payment before the post will become visible. This process normally only takes a couple of hours, but please bear with us. From time to time we may refuse a payment and post, if we feel the advert is inappropriate or falls outside of these or any other Terms and Conditions surrounding the use of the Blue Room.
