  1. Thanks all, I'll try the 'drill' thing, cheers DrV.
  2. An option in the personality file for that particular fixture to re-set it.
  3. Quite happy to replace them but that begs the next question, what's the size of the centre pin ? My eyes aren't good enough to make it out using a tape
  4. The plugs are loose in the socket, if I pull them slightly to the side, they make contact but I'm not sure if it's the centre pin or the outer shield.
  5. Sorted this.... there is a reset button for these fixtures in the TT which had somehow become stuck on ! Got that set to 'off' and all was good. The fixture had been trying to reset itself time after time !
  6. Picked up a T-Bone antenna distributor to tidy up cables etc, the power cables that came with it are slightly the wrong size for the Sennheiser XS receivers that I'm trying to power. Can I get the 'proper' cables anywhere ? Sennheiser support pages don't seem to list any
  7. Ok, tried all the resets, checked everything is correct etc and it's still doing the same thing, it's not booting properly with or without DMX connected so I'm going to assume it's either a hardware or pub problem. I'll wait for Prolight to get back to work and give them another shout. Thanks for the help though F
  8. I'm probably not explaining this right, I'm no lampy ! When the fixture is switched on, without DMX, it starts to boot up, does a half turn then sits for a minute and makes a 'clicking' sound, stops and comes to rest, I can then access the menus and it will work in manual mode. Starting up with DMX in, it does the same thing but when it comes to rest, DMX light goes out and I can't access the menus. Then it will start to boot up again, and will continue to do this until I remove the DMX cable. The other fixtures seem to work fine, during boot up they spin quite fast whereas this one only gives a half spin very slowly. I've spoken to Prolight but they're all away til the 3rd Jan, was just seeing if there were any ideas I hadn't thought of. F
  9. Thanks Rob, I've done all the usual stuff, checked multipins are seated properly inside etc, when it's starting up, it doesn't do the same 'motor reset' as the others, it seems to get stuck on the pan movement, could be a stepper motor ? I'll try it on the same address as one of the others later today. F
  10. One of these fixtures goes through the start up procedure, sticks a bit then goes back to the start, that's with DMX plugged in. Without DMX, it'll work fine on manual control. Tried different cables etc but no luck, the DMX board seems to be part of the main board, anyone had any problems with these fixtures ?
  11. I repair a lot of LED fixtures and sadly it's much more likely to be the driver than a connection. The fast fix is to replace the driver board, or if you have the tools and skills and can get hold of whatever is used as a driver then component level repair of the board. Cheers Rob, I have the tools but not the skills !! I'll check what I can and if it's looking like a driver, get it to someone who knows what they're doing :)
  12. Individual LEDs tested working so I'm hoping it's a connection issue and not the driver.
  13. I have an Elumen8 cm120 moving head, 12 quad led's, that's not outputting 3 of the green led's, tested them all and they appear to be working but when powered up, I'm not getting them, the other 3 leds, red, blue and white on the quad leds are working. Any suggestions ?
