We are looking for a Junior AV technician to join our expanding production team.
Job Description
Job type: Full-time
Location: Halo, Angel N1 and any other site specified.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30
Yearly Salary c. £30k / £35k according to candidate’s experience.
Salary calculated on an hourly basis - Paid overtime
Starting date – February / March 2022
Key role
Providing AV and production services to our events team.
Help with managing AV rental stock - apply rigorous testing to each type of AV equipment on a regular basis. Clean, check accessories and replace in flight-case after each production.
Improve systems and processes - Liaise with Ops Manager / line manager about all issues.
Participate actively to general effort to provide a flawless service and generate business.
Experience / knowledge - required
Track record in AV design, set-up and operation.
Knowledge of several AV operating systems.
Additional experience – welcomed
Any CAD packages – sketch-up etc
Image generating and editing skills
General experience / knowledge of event technology: AV / Lighting / Sound / Special effects / etc
Knowledge of sound equipment and setting up
Personal qualities required:
Confident and friendly
Passion for events industry
Aptitude to focus on specifics while multi-tasking - attention to detail.
Strong work ethic which includes punctuality
Can do / will do attitude.
Self-motivation / endless drive to improve systems.
