  1. Thank you David, that's good to know. Is V3 backward compatible? Can I use it to load an XML plot designed in V2.5.5.0?
  2. Problem solved, thanks to themadhippy! I right clicked the program, ran "Troubleshoot compatibility", and it automatically adjusted the display settings.Everything works fine now. Much thanks to all who offered advice!
  3. Right clicking the program brought up the option of "Troubleshoot compatability". I ran it, and it automatically adjusted the display settings. I can now minimize, restore, and reshape and resize to my heart's content with no issues. Much thanks for your advice, themadhippy! In my ignorance of Windows, this never would have occurred to me without your prompting. I owe you a pint! Problem solved, thanks to themadhippy! 4. Thanks for your reply, bruce. Shift-rightclick on the Multiplay icon in the taskbar only shows the options restore, minimize, and close - none of which solves the problem. I tried shift-rightclick with other apps, and a completely different menu shows up, with move as one of the options - not for Multiplay though. I also tried right clicking on the taskbar and selecting Cascade windows, which is supposed move all open windows onto the main screen in line, but again no luck.
  5. Greetings all! I'm a Sound Designer who usually works on a Mac with QLab. I'm currently working on a production with an existing sound plot created in Multiplay by the another designer. Since our venue is equipped with an iMac and QLab, my job is to recreate this Multiplay plot in QLab for our upcoming tech rehearsals and performances. In the meantime, I need to get the Multiplay plot running on our Stage Manager's Windows 10 laptop so she can play the cues in rehearsals. I've rarely used Windows in the last 15 years or so, so I admit I'm more than a little rusty at it. Multiplay has not been updated or supported for 8 years now, years before the development of Windows 10. It is also a 32 bit application, and Windows 10 is a 64 bit OS. The problem I'm running into is this: When I loaded the plot and the Multiplay app on the SM's laptop, it seemed to work fine at first, but at one point I made the mistake of minimizing the app's window. So far I have been unable to figure out how to restore it. I can see the app in the task bar, but right clicking it only gives the me the "close window" option. If I close the app and restart it, the window flashes on the screen briefly, and immediately minimizes itself again. Restarting the laptop doesn't solve the problem. Now, I also purchased Parallels Desktop for Mac with Windows 10 for use on my MacBook Pro specifically for this production, and I'm having the same problem there. I've even uninstalled Windows 10 and Parallels from the MacBook and did a clean install, but the first time I tried to run Multiplay again it immediately minimized again. Can anyone here help me with a solution or a workaround? Much thanks in advance!
