  1. Thank you for all your responses! I have checked the wiring and it seems to be happy from what I could tell. There are 3 PCBs involved - the LED PCB, the LED driver and the mainboard. The LED driver takes a 4-pin connector from the sensor on the LED PCB and sends that down through RS-485 (the same way the mainboard tells the driver what to output on the LED PCB). On the temperature sensor, it seems that the 3 pins for the address (A0, A1, A2) are shorted to the 5v rail along with VDD. I did look into doing a firmware update, however that required having to purchases Martin's proprietary USB to DMX firmware uploader that cost over £100.
  2. Hi Everyone, Wondered if anyone had previously run into issues with Martin Rush MH2 Washes and their temperature sensors reporting back nothing. I replaced the sensor (AD7416ARZ) and the fixture still says that it isn't receiving a temperature, which completely disables light output. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry for posting this as a topic, I just realised after I posted and don't know how to change it) Many Thanks Aramus
  3. Thanks for the advice. I will avoid using a terminator on this fixture.
  4. Hi. Thanks for the reply. I did read on another forum blue-room forum that someone had a similar issue in their lighting network using Chauvet 560Z LEDs. The 560Z and 360Z as of what I know use mostly the same hardware except the LED driver and LEDs themselves (having an extra amber LED). It's rather annoying this happens because if you somehow lose DMX in your venue, all the Chauvet moving heads will go berserk.
  5. Thank you for the reply. I went through all the menus and manual trying to find what would happen if the fixture lost DMX. Surprisingly, there is no setting to tell the fixture what to do if it loses DMX.
  6. Hi All For the first time in a while I decided to turn on my Chauvet 360Z LED. I plugged an 120 ohm terminator and plugged in DMX. It worked without a problem when operating it from the desk. However, if you were to unplug the light from the desk it would start to flickering and slowly spinning while the zoom motor started to jutter. After unplugging the terminator it continued flickering and moving. I could stop this by re-plugging the DMX signal from the desk back into it (it would then go back to the state stated on the desk). If you didn't have the terminator plugged in and unplugged the signal from the desk, the light would stay normal. This slightly concerns me and I wondered why this might happen. Many Thanks Aramus
