  1. What are the best low fog machine in the market? Is there anything that does not need dry ice or CO2. And which is the liquid that gives the best results. It is for a 50*50 feet or 15-15 meters auditorium.
  2. I strongly recommend Ultratec Radiance Hazer and use Luminous 7 Haze fluid. Great results and very low consumption. Easy to clean and repair.
  3. Off course I considered all of that, but the most obvious issue, after checking lamp and lamp holder, is the igniter. Once I am sure that is fine I can move for another theory. Just curious if there was an easier way to acess the igniter, but I got my answer and I apparently need to remove the logic board, what seems to be a poor design. Thank you for your feedback Best regards
  4. I do have the parts from them, but I don't believe they provide assistance on repair.
  5. Hi all! I have an issue with a Cyber 2.0 that is not striking the lamp. I believe that the issue is the ignitor, that is hidden behind the logic board. Is there a way to pull it off easily or do I need to unplug all logic board and take it out to reach the ignitor? Ignitors should be easy to replace. I might be missing something here.
  6. Does anyone know how to take the bottom cover? I got the parts and want to replace them but I cant take the bottom cover or the back cover. All the screws were removed and if I force it too much I will break the cover. Martin didnt do a good job with this fixture and they crazy expensive. Was easier to do service on Robe. Thanks in advance.
  7. Thank You very much for your reply. Much appreciated. Or maybe they just know what the problem usually is, given that they make the fixture and deal with its faults every day. I don't think I've ever had advice from a manufacturer tech support that is motivated by parts sales, Martin or any other. A lot of standard advice for fixing modern LED units is gonna be a PCB swap rather than component level fault finding in the same way that a car mechanic no longer overhauls assemblies but rather swaps them out for whole new ones. I do work at component level, but in order to get working fixtures back on the road in a reasonable time there is a lot of board level swaps, leaving dead PCBs to be fixed during downtime. If you ask a manufacturer service tech what they do, you'll usually get a "We just swap the board." answer. As it says in the user manual that the BETE is a sensor error, not an actual temperature error, then presumably the problem lies in the sensor circuit somewhere. This could be anywhere from the sensor, all the way back to the processor. You could hunt down the fault and attempt to rectify it at component level, depending on skills and tool availability but this comes at the cost of time and the risk that you may not be able to find/fix some tiny issue. However, a lot of the time it's more cost effective for a business to just swap a part out and move on. If you want to verify the fault and Martin's advice, then swap out the parts they suggest with known working ones from another fixture. Then you can assess if you want to buy a new part or use a donor fixture etc. I started a series about this recently: http://www.onstageli...ice-and-repair/ and http://www.onstageli...ir-maintenance/. When the next in the series comes out, it will outline a method by which you can avoid buying an LED PCB costing hundreds of pounds, just to replace a single R2 Wash LED chip. Obviously, that isn't gonna fix your Quantum Profile but all these topics are highly relevant at the moment, and the reason I've started the series of articles. :)
  8. The fans are working properly and they are not positioned in a place where they can get too hot. Martin advise me to either replace the LED PCB or the color engine. I found it weird. I guess they just wanted me to order expensive parts. Thank you for the advise.
  9. Hi to you all, I been experiencing the same issues with the Martin Quantum profile. I work in some Theaters with Quantums, used in daily basis, cleaned and filters exchange in regular basis. After 1 or two years usage several start not output light after a few min usage. The most common error is BETE error. Anything I can do to avoid having this issue? What to do to fix it? Replace the LED PCB is quite expensive. Expected more from this expensive piece of equipment. Any tips or advise will be much appreciated. Best regards
