I work in a prep school in Kent. We have a theatre in a medieval Barn. Sounds great but the hassles it brings are huge. I get to do all the backstage work, lighting, sound, set building etc. you name it. We put on 8-9 shows a year. I have a tech theatre club which teaches interested pupils the basics of backstage work sound, lighting etc as much as H&S allows. Oh by the way my full time proper job is a physics and IT teacher!! Any help I can give I willingly pass on.
