Voluntary theatre worker

I am based in Dorset and have 6 years experience in lighting and in sound. I am currently employed at a school as a head technician for the stage and hall and also work there as an it technician. I also do a lot of volunteer work over the holidays in theatres around my area, I mainly program and operate dmx lighting consoles for drama, dance and concerts. I also clean and maintain various stage equipment such as sound desks, lighting desks, dmx lighting, dimmerpacks etc... I sometimes do installs for sound and lighting equipment. I also do sound engineering for a few bands round the area and hire out my own PA and lighting when needed. I have been trained on mobile access towers, to build, use, and dismantle and am also ladder trained. I enjoy meeting people and mix easily into any environment. I also train external clients who hire the stage at the school how to use our pa and lighting equipment. I am a good listener and always eager to learn new things.
