  1. Hi Guys. Finally got to the bottom of this one.. By chance I saw it de-lamp continue its test sequence for about 1 second then park pan and tilt. Although I knew the lamp wasn't old I thought I would take a look at it. It looked fine but I pulled it out of the holder and noticed one of the pins was black with a sign of arcing. Further looking showed a tiny crack in the ceramic lamp holder. Replaced lamp holder and lamp and all now in good working order. Has anyone done a list of known MAC 300 / 250 common faults? .
  2. Hi Dave. Thanks for the comments. I replaced the light sensor with a new one as that's what I thought the fault was from previous experience but fault occasionally still there. Also replaced the loom onto the PCB. Any one else with an idea?
  3. Hi. Does anyone have a copy of the Martin MAC 300 circuit diagram and any other technical notes. I have repaired lots of units in the past but I have spent hours on one which bots up and runs its test Seq but suddenly de-lamps and then both pan and tilt just stop. The test seq is still running for all the sections ie CMY wheels/frost/ shutter but Pan and Tilt just lock. On reboot e=will run ok again until the same thing happens. Sometimes it will run for half an hour then stop other times just a few minuets then it stops. Any suggestions.
