    HK AUDIO ACTOR

Hi everyone,a question, I am a die hard original RCF Event Series fan having been using them for over 20 years now, I run 4 1018,s 6 1000,s and 2 3000,s Powered by QSC Powerlight 3400,s and a yamaha 12 channel analogue desk, I have been a jock for 39 years but tend to do more and more PA work for charity cuircut singers with them bringing there tracks on sticks or iphones, no 8 track mastering anymore! Anyway I have always loved the warm but punchy sound of the Event Series kit but am now wondering if for ease I might be better placed to run the afformentioned HK Actor powered rig, my thoughts are will it come near or surpase my Event system and how reliable are the amps? Having built in amps means if you lose an amp you lose a speaker whereas at the moment I can just repatch and drop the channel of the amp down to compensate for the increased load, but less kit to cart around. My venues are normally between 150 and 750 people inside but 1 or 2 times a yearand outside gig of upto 4000 people, not a rock concert so I dont need 30k but my rig is a genuin 5k at the moment if needed but not often more like 2.5k most of the time. Right time for me to shut up and ask anyones opinion, what do you reckon,,,,,,,,the floor is yours?
